This post is to help clarify and get the word out about what we are looking for in a house starting August 1, since several people have asked specifically about this.
We are looking to rent a furnished single-family home or condo August-December located in NE or SE Grand Rapids. We can pay rent. Sometimes people own multiple homes, or aging parents move into assisted living leaving a home available, or a number of other circumstances can result in a home being furnished and available.
This post is not a desperate plea for help. If you live in Grand Rapids, I want to share details regarding our need so you can share with others in your network. If you don’t live in GR, then you can just pray that God would reveal the right place for us at the right time.
We have a backup plan to rent a duplex owned by the Christian Reformed Church, but we are open to other options. We feel it is best for our family to have our own place during this time. Several people have also offered to have us stay with them in their home which is super generous. We won’t be homeless by any stretch!
