Appt update
The trip to BKK was good, our experience with getting the CT PET was very positive. We can expect results noon on Tues.
For those of you who like many details or to pray during appointments…Chris’ appt for Tues will be moved to 2:00pm. That is actually not bad considering we waited 3 hours to see the doctor last week. Having a later appointment might indicate less waiting, perhaps.
We are still not confident if he will get the bone marrow biopsy/aspiration as I called about a specific time for this procedure, but there is not one.
From what we understand it will be decided at the appt with the doctor. The language and cultural difference with the hospital and nurses is felt more when we are tired.
Pray for the kids during these times of absence. Please pray we can attend as many end of the year events as possible (Lucas’ 6th grade graduation, Emalene’s home country report, Lucas’ band concert, perhaps Luis’ volleyball tournament).
Thank God with us for Rhonda who is stepping in to care for the kids when we cannot, for those helping with logistics and food to support us at this time.
Praise God that Chris has been able to maintain his appetite and has had more energy than last week.
I don’t plan to write multiple times per day, or even every day, but I can today because of the scan and the flight.
