Dear loved ones,
We rejoice for the joys of today and give praise to the Lord for:
Prayers with friends, a packed lunch by a friend due to all the movement during the day, a normal day of school for the kids (normal feels like a gift), news that the brain MRI is ALL CLEAR, a special time with friends who may not be here when we return, the joy on Emalene’s face when she realized we will be in the US to see snow this coming December, friends that make us laugh, friends doing school pick ups/medical appointments, and the relief that Chris was given the slides and tissue biopsy that he will bring with him.
We give to the Lord our new concerns and ask you to join with us regarding:
the news that the bone marrow/aspiration biopsy shows the cancer is in his bones
all the information we are trying to understand regarding Chris’ diagnosis, overwhelm quickly sets in.
