Today is the day! We have prayed and waited for Chris’ first appointment with his doctor in the US!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thank you Lord for bringing our family to this day, that Chris is feeling stable and his health has not decreased significantly over the last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lord, please give Chris and those in the appointments the ability to listen. Cover them with your love and protection, give them grace if the information starts to feel overwhelming. Help them hear what you want them to hear. Please bless the doctor in special ways, wisdom, direction, only from you Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lord, please be with me as I sleep and wait to hear the news (it will be 1am for me when they have the appointment). Please help the sleep I get to be restful so I can be loving and patient and helpful to the kids at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lord, thank you for the endless care from family and friends, prayers from all over the globe. I know that friends on all 4 continents are praying, knowing you are good and putting their trust in you. As a friend prayed, you are good now and you will be good after the appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jesus, please be with the kids in a special way as we celebrate Lucas’ graduation tomorrow, as Luis says goodbye to a special friend, and for Emalene as she finishes preparing for a presentation. Please help us persevere in the packing chaos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thank you for your lovingkindness that flows so sweetly through the hands and feet of those around us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
