{"id":121,"date":"2023-06-16T13:23:19","date_gmt":"2023-06-16T17:23:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hirtfamily.net\/chris\/?p=121"},"modified":"2023-06-16T13:23:19","modified_gmt":"2023-06-16T17:23:19","slug":"forget-not","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hirtfamily.net\/chris\/2023\/06\/16\/forget-not\/","title":{"rendered":"Forget not"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Isaiah 40 repeats the same phrase twice<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Do you not know?\u00a0 Have you not heard?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a day and age when no one wants to be missing out on anything and our attention is being pulled in every direction the word of the Lord is also calling for our attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The chapter proclaims the Lord&#8217;s greatness like a bullhorn at the start of a significant event.&nbsp; His greatness is significant and worthy of announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These forget-me-nots were also calling for my attention today, like God&#8217;s word proclaiming, &#8220;Don&#8217;t forget my greatness &#8211; it is all around you.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/hirtfamily.net\/chris\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/D26869B7-0016-4A00-9BCB-D2E0AAB1DC74-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-122\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hirtfamily.net\/chris\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/D26869B7-0016-4A00-9BCB-D2E0AAB1DC74-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/hirtfamily.net\/chris\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/D26869B7-0016-4A00-9BCB-D2E0AAB1DC74-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/hirtfamily.net\/chris\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/D26869B7-0016-4A00-9BCB-D2E0AAB1DC74-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https:\/\/hirtfamily.net\/chris\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/D26869B7-0016-4A00-9BCB-D2E0AAB1DC74-1536x2048.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/hirtfamily.net\/chris\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/D26869B7-0016-4A00-9BCB-D2E0AAB1DC74-scaled.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This chapter is often titled as a comfort for God&#8217;s people.\u00a0 His greatness is our comfort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His greatness is our\u00a0joy in times of celebration when Chris&#8217; platelets have risen to <strong>260<\/strong>!\u00a0 Can we say &#8220;lift off?!&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His greatness is our comfort when we mourn some of the things that we are missing out on, like time with our family who are not close, and who we had planned to see this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His greatness is our peace when some things have improved (Chris continues to have no pain) but others remain uncertain.
